Self-Advocacy. Connection. Consent.

Empowering lessons.

Whole Selves™ provides honest, accessible lessons on self-advocacy, healthy relationships, and consent.
Our subscription-based courses are designed to engage all learners, with tools and strategies that support the unique needs of neurodivergent teens and young adults.

Limitations in relationship skills are a significant barrier to learning, independence, and job success.

Too often, topics like boundaries, safety, and connection are left out of education. Neurodiverse students are left without the tools they need to connect with others, advocate for themselves, and build confidence.

Write your awesome label here.

Whole Selves is here to change that.

We offer a robust, evidence-informed curriculum that goes far beyond biology and safety. In our twelve courses and forty-eight learning areas, we focus on the life skills that support safety, self-expression and meaningful relationships. Our core learning areas are -

  • Building self-awareness, body-awareness, and self-respect

  • Understanding boundaries and consent
  • Navigating friendships, dating, and intimacy
  • Managing emotions, decision-making and communication

Flexible and Inclusive Format

Our content is universal; our approach to teaching is specialized.

Our lessons are straightforward, adaptable, and designed for a wide range of learners and settings. They present complex ideas in a direct—but never simplistic—way, making abstract concepts accessible to concrete thinkers. Materials feature diverse students and focus on building connection, self-worth, and essential relational skills. The curriculum includes both online learning and more than 200 downloadable activities that support in-person instruction at school or at home.

Time Tested and Evidence Informed

With more than 20 years of experience in schools and community settings, Whole Selves has developed a curriculum that is deeply rooted in both practice and research. Our lessons have been continually refined with input from students, teachers, parents, and professionals to ensure they are inclusive, effective, and relevant.

As an evidence-informed program, we are committed to ongoing data collection and analysis toward a full evidence base. In partnership with Mount Holyoke College’s Graduate and Professional School of Education, we conducted a comprehensive literature review and undertook a rigorous process of testing and refinement. The result is a curriculum that aligns with the National Health and Sexuality Education Standards and includes a robust, adaptive assessment system - meeting best practice standards while providing the flexibility neurodivergent learners need to succeed.
